Teef Club Winter Pop-Up

From the 5th of June, Teef Club will pop up once again at Say Cheese in Footscray to host a range of creative workshops with local artists.

Across two weekends, we will be running a variety of workshops for you and your friends to get cosy, relax and be super crafty. For the very first time, Sirius (Tuxedo Cat) and Sebastian (British Shorthair) will be to joining us for a cat life drawing session! Our workshops are designed for crafters of all levels and are fully guided by artists who love what they do. 

Alongside the workshops, we will have a mini shop for you to browse items made and designed by artists and creatives who also love cats <3

Event Schedule

The pop-up will run from the 5th of June to the 14th of June.

Teef Club's mini shop will be open on Fridays and weekends outside of workshop hours.

Creative workshops will run on Saturdays and Sundays.

Creative Workshops

  • Embroidery Workshop: Cats on Totes with Nekki

    Sew a cat design onto a tote bag using a range of embroidery techniques, playing with creating different designs, colours and textures.

    Learn to draw from life with our cats, Sirius and Sebastian, as your models and companions for the day.

  • Cat Trinket Tray Painting Workshop with Moogle Pottery

    📆 Saturday, 13 June @ 10:30am

    Play with underglazes and paint a handmade cat sculpture sitting in a trinket dish. Choose from three different cat sculpture designs.

  • Felty Friends: Sleepy Cat Magnets with whostolemypencils

    📆 Sunday, 14 June @ 10:00am

    Decorate your fridge with a cat magnet you'll learn to sew in this crafty felt workshop. Choose from a white, grey or orange cat.

Teef Club Mini Shop

Teef Club will feature a collection of cat-themed items available for purchase at the pop-up.

The store will be open on Fridays (5th & 12th June), and on weekends outside of workshop hours.

Over the course of the weekend, we will be featuring items made by ComfoJoy (from Melbourne), Reality Check (from Brisbane) and Rongclay (from Perth). These items will not be available for purchase on the Teef Club website.

About Say Cheese

Founded by true west-siders, Say Cheese was born out of love for food and friendship. Over the years, Say Cheese has further explored these ideas and embraced community, Salvadoran and Filipino culture, and west-side creativity. Their recipes are inspired by core memories and adventure, and enjoyed even more by sharing with those around them.

Our friends welcome all into their space and want nothing less than for you to experience what had inspired them to create Say Cheese.

How to get here

Take a train into Footscray Station and then walk 4 minutes into the heart of Footscray where you will find us in Trocadero Arcade, next to Say Cheese at 6/119 Hopkins St, Footscray 3011 VIC.

Alternatively, there is plenty of street parking and a parking complex close by. We recommend Little Saigon Plaza Car Park which is a 3-minute walk away.
