DIY Chinese Knot Tying with Love Me Knots
DIY Chinese Knot Tying with Love Me Knots
by Love Me Knots
Come along and take a shot at tying a traditional Chinese knot in this self-led session!
We've invited Love Me Knots to bring her materials and knot tying skills to party with us at Section 8.
This is a self-led session where you can rock up and any time to join in. Diep, artist behind Love Me Knots, will be teaching cat lovers how to tie a traditional Chinese knot.
After watching her, you'll get the chance to take a handful of materials to another spot in the venue and have a go at tying the knot for yourself. Once you're done, you'll have a cute Chinese knot keychain with a little cat bead accompanying it on the side.
What's included:
- A bead and knot tying station for you to pick and choose your materials
- Instruction manual and instructor to guide you if you get stuck
- All tools and hardware provided
Diep is a self-taught artist based in Melbourne who practices various mediums. She has exhibited at many local and interstate art markets and is known for drawing a crowd at these events.
Attendees under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult as tools are used in this workshop.
Please note this class will be photographed and music will play in the background throughout the session.
